Engineer Applejack by Riznof Engineer Applejack by Riznof
Another Friendship is Magic meets Star Trek mashup!

This time Applejack meets Geordi!

Who would have thought to fix a warp core the same way you get apples out of a tree?

“…and with a swift kick to the dilithium crystal chamber, Lieutenant Applejack singlehandedly prevented a warp core breech!”

I know right? If Geordi knew that technique the Enterprise would have been in alot less peril every single time the warp core decided to be moody.

I would bet that Geordi would have been fascinated by the technique, rather than often hammering for hours on LCARS screens.

Only wrong bit is that AJ's eyes are showing. Don't know: wider eye-band and closed eyes?

Seems AJ and I repair things using the same secret technique. ;)

Love this print! Saw it at Saboten and had to get it. I never would have thought to mix Star Trek and Ponies, but now I'm completely on board. Let's boldly go where no pony has gone before!

This is a new best thing! I love this, because yes, TNG and MLP.

Hasbro needs to put out a scifi episode of FIM!

Yes! Goodness, yes. I'm not sure how it work apart from being a part of some kind of "Rainy Day Imagination" plot, but it would be pretty sweet. Although given the nature of the setting, it'd be more likely to be more steampunkish than sci-fi.

I always wondered about the sort of mentally-backwards designers the Enterprise-D had to put a matter/antimatter reactor in the same room as the people who would be needed alive to fix it if anything went wrong. A massive amount of technological hubris there. And I loved that show as a kid.
